Trade Desk Services
The cornerstone of Schonfeld IBS's suite of services is our Trade Desk. Through the Trade Desk and other automated options, we execute orders on an agency basis in an effort to eliminate conflicts of interest. We strive to develop a "team" relationship with each of our customers - this approach helps us to deliver excellent service and executions. The Trade Desk facilitates customer brokerage needs by providing:
- Access to U.S. equity markets, including floor brokers, market making desks and electronic trading systems
- Expert execution to minimize market impact of large orders
- Direct connection to DOT and all major ECN's
- Flexible, ultra-efficient VWAP programs through our proprietary automated systems
Schonfeld IBS utilizes a sophisticated proprietary software platform specifically designed for hedge fund executions and quantitative model development and implementation. Schonfeld IBS stands ready to assist managers and trading groups in the execution of such programs. Systems can be fully or partially automated and linked directly with the electronic markets. Our in-house programmers can tailor a solution that translates a customer's trading ideas and strategies into market reality. Customers will be able to select among market venues, including direct access to DOT systems and all major ECN's, including Instinet/Island (INET), Archipelago (ARCA), BRUT and Bloomberg (BTRD).
